Enjoy the view from the observation tower and learn about the daily operations of the world’s largest railyard. Lunch included today at Route 80 Grill. Thursday, May 28th– Breakfast included at the hotel. This morning we depart for Canon City and a guided tour at the Museum of Colorado Prisons. Learn about past inmates and daily life on this informative tour. This afternoon relax and enjoy lunch (included) on a train ride through the Royal Gorge. Experience 1,000 foot sheer rock walls and beauty only mother nature can provide. Supper included this evening before checking in at Holiday Inn & Suites, Alamosa.
Friday, May 29th– Breakfast included at the hotel. Today enjoy USA Today’s #1 rated scenic train ride aboard the Cumbres Toltec Scenic Railway. Lunch included during a stop at Osier Pass. Saturday, May 30th– Breakfast included at the hotel. This morning we will make a short drive to the Garden of the Gods for an IMAX movie and a guided tour of the park with lunch included. This afternoon grab your coat as we take the newly restored Cog Railway to the summit of Pikes Peak. There will be time for photos, hot cocoa and donuts before boarding for the return trip down the mountain. Supper (on your own) and time to shop and enjoy Manitou Springs before departing for Aurora, Colorado and checking in at the Ramada Inn by Wyndham.
Sunday, May 31st– Breakfast included at the hotel. Depart for home this morning with amazing memories to share of our Trains of Colorado Tour. Lunch included at Ole’s Big Game Steakhouse, Paxton, NE.
